Opening a Facebook page, like all other social media profiles, allows you to connect with thousands of new and prospective clients.  Facebook is used by 79% of internet users. It’s a great option for contractors because it allows you to connect with your fans and post photos, making an online portfolio of sorts.

Facebook Tips for Contractors:

1. Create a schedule that works best for you. 

Ideally, we recommend posting once a day to Facebook.  But whatever schedule you decide on make sure you stick to it. Sometimes having a poorly managed social media presence can be worse than having no social media presence at all.

2. Share pictures and videos! 

Visual content is 40 times more likely to be shared on social media than standard text content.

3. Be a source of useful information, don’t just promote your business. 

               We’re not saying you need to give away the secrets of your trade; instead, try providing helpful advice or DIY tips that are easy and highly shareable. This will increase your audience exponentially.
